Question:-
At home we constantly have ants all over as we have ant hills in the yard. We notice them almost everywhere in the house, and now they are even getting into our honey jar. We noticed that some ants have drowned in the honey. Will the honey be Halaal to consume? Can we simply remove those dead ants and keep the rest of the honey, or do we have to dispose of the honey?
Honey is bought in the normal glass jars with screw-on lids and the ants still get inside, although the jar is sealed. What about other foods if the same happens?
Answer:-
You are simply required to remove the ants from the food items and honey. The food items, including the honey, may then be consumed.
