Question:-
During the lockdown, Eid Salaah will be performed at home. Can we commence with Qurbani the moment Eid Salaah is over at the house?
Answer:-
If the Eid Salaah is performed only in the homes, slaughtering may commence immediately thereafter under the current lockdown situation. However, if Eid Salaah is taking place in the Masaajid, as well as in some homes, then we advise that those performing their Eid Salaah at home should wait until the Eid Salaah of at least one Masjid in the locality is over; because the texts of the Fuqahaa (as you can see below) specifically mention that the people of a Masjid (any Masjid) must complete their Salaah before one may carry out his Qurbani.
اگر عیدگاہ سے پہلے کسی مسجد میں عید الاضحی کی نماز پڑھ لی جائے ، تو اس نماز کے بعد قربانی کرنا بلا شبہ جائز ہے (کتاب النوازل ۵۴۹ ج۱۴)
أَنَّهُ إذَا صلى أَهْلُ أَحَدِ المسجد ( المسجدين ) أَيُّهُمَا كان جَازَ ذَبْحُ الْأَضَاحِيّ وَذَكَرَ في الْأَصْلِ إذَا صلى أَهْلُ أحد ( ( ( المسجد ) ) ) المسجدين فَالْقِيَاسُ أَنْ لَا يَجُوزَ ذَبْحُ الْأُضْحِيَّةَ وفي الِاسْتِحْسَانِ يَجُوزُ (بدائع الصنائع ص211 ج4)
