Question:-
My husband was given a company laptop to use for work. The laptop bag was not in a good condition, so we purchased a new bag to replace the old one. Can we give the old bag away without telling the owner?
Answer:-
The old bag was given for the employee’s usage, hence, it is considered as Amaanat. In reality, it still belongs to the employer and therefore, cannot be given away without his consent.
