Intimacy programmes held publicly
Question:-
Recently, an intimacy programme for males was held in our area, conducted by Ulama. What is your view in regard to such programmes? Is this not a type of shamelessness where such matters are discussed openly in public? What if a youngster is listening over the receiver, or gets hold of a recording? Kindly comment!
Answer:-
We are not in favour of these intimacy programmes, whether hosted by individuals, or organizations. There is no problem in organizing pre-marital classes where young men who are ready for marriage, are guided and taught how to conduct themselves after marriage and how to fulfill the rights of their spouses. However, if an individual is experiencing intimacy issues (which is quite common nowadays), then he should contact some senior Alim or an experienced person for guidance.
