Question:-
Is it permissible to wear shoes whilst making Tawaaf?
Answer:-
The Fuqaha have written that it is Makrooh to wear shoes and enter the Masjid, even if the shoes may be perfectly clean, thus a person should not enter Masjid-e-Haraam with shoes.
ودخول المسجد متنعلا مكروه (علمكيري ص321 ج5)
However, if one did perform Tawaaf with shoes (which are free of any impurities), then the Tawaaf will be valid although the act of entering the Haram with shoes is abhorred.
