Question:-
What is the meaning of the name “Haarith”? Who was “Haarith”?
Answer:-
We assume that you are concerned in regards to the name “Haarith” as it is known to be the name of Shaytaan. The narration which states that it is the name of Shaytaan has been classified as a weak narration. According to some narrations, the name “Haarith” is referred to as ‘the most truthful’. Due to the name having dual meanings one may name his/her child “Haarith”, keeping the correct meaning in mind. Hence, there is no harm in naming one’s child “Haarith”.
