Partners not willing to sell their share/s in a partnership

Question:-

My siblings and I are partners in a business. I am the only the only active partner while the rest are all silent partners. They are not willing to sell their shares over to me. Can they be forced to sell their shares over to me since they are all silent partners?

Answer:-

If your siblings are not willing to sell their respective shares in the business they cannot be forced to do so, even though they may be silent partners. However, since you are the only active partner in the business, they should be fair and allow you to enjoy a larger portion of the profits in lieu of your efforts. This must be done with mutual agreement.
