QUESTION:
Is it permissible to read one Nafl salaah with more than one intention? For example, to read with the intention of Salaatul Istighfaar and Salaatul Haajat?
ANSWER:
The Fuqaha have stated that it will be permissible to perform a Nafl Salaah with multiple intentions (such as making intention for Salaatut Taubah, Salaatush Shukr, Salaatul Haajat, etc. in one Salaah). However, the reward for performing each Nafl Salaah independently is greater. [Re: Fataawa Uthmaaniyyah Vol:2 Pg:305]
