Reward For He Who Builds A Masjid For Allah Ta’ala

Hadrat Uthmaan Radiallahu Anhu narrates, “I heard Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam saying, ‘Whoever builds a Masjid seeking the pleasure of Allah Ta’ala, Allah Ta’ala builds a house for him in Jannah,’.” [Sahih Bukhaari]

Hadrat Abu Hurairah Radiallahu Anhu narrates that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, “Whoever builds a house out of lawful wealth, in which Allah Ta’ala is worshipped, Allah Ta’ala builds for him a house in Jannah out of pearls and sapphires.” [Al Haithami]

Hadrat Aisha Radiallahu Anha narrates that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, “Whoever builds a Masjid, not desiring thereby any show nor any praise, Allah Ta’ala builds for him a house in Jannah.” [Al Haithami]

Hadrat Abu Hurairah Radiallahu Anhu narrates that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, “From among the actions and good deeds of a believer which join him after his death are, (1) knowledge which he taught and spread, (2) a righteous child, (3) a copy of the Quraan which he left as inheritance, (4) a Masjid which he built, (5) a lodge which he built for travelers, (6) a spring which he caused to flow, (7) charity which he took out of his wealth while he was healthy and alive. These will join him after his death.” [Ibn Majah]

Hadrat Anas Radiallahu Anhu narrated that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, “Whoever builds a Masjid-whether it is small or big -Allah Ta’ala builds a house for him in Jannah.” [Tirmidhi]
