I would like to enquire if it is Jaaiz to use whitening strips on the teeth?
ANSWER:
According to the internet, teeth whitening strips are harmful to one’s teeth. If the strips contain chlorine dioxide, you could destroy the enamel on your teeth. It is the same acid used to disinfect swimming pools. It whitens teeth by eating away the surface of the enamel.
The strips also cause gum irritation and tooth sensitivity. Also, as whitening strips use bleaching agents to achieve its effects, the overuse of these products can damage the teeth. We therefore advise abstention from using items that are harmful to the human body.
