Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr Radiallahu Anhu narrates that Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, “When Sulaiman ibn Dawood Alaihis Salaam completed the building of Baitul Maqdis, he asked Allah Ta’ala for judgement that coincides with His Judgement, a Kingdom that is not given to anyone after him, and that every person who comes to this Masjid for the sole purpose of Salaah should leave it without any sins like this day his mother gave birth to him.” Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, “His first two supplications were accepted and I hope that his third supplication is also accepted.” [Musnad Ahmad]

Hadrat Anas Radiallahu Anhu narrates that Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, “The Salaah which a person offers in his house, shall merit the reward of one Salaah. The Salaah which he offers in his local Masjid, shall merit the reward of 25 Salaahs. The Salaah which he offers in a Jumu’ah Masjid, shall merit the reward of 500 Salaah. The Salaah which he offers in Masjidul Aqsa, shall merit the reward of 50 000 Salaah. The Salaah which he offers in my Masjid, shall merit the reward of 50 000 Salaah. The Salaah which he offers in Masjidul Haraam, shall merit the reward of 100 000 Salaah.” [Ibn Majah]

Hadrat Sahl ibn Hanif Radiallahu Anhu narrates that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, “Whoever purifies himself at home and then goes to Masjidul Quba and offers Salaah therein, shall receive the reward of an Umrah.” [Musnad Ahmad]

At-Tabrani Rahimahullah also narrates the above, but with the following words, “Whoever performs a complete Wudhu, enters Masjidul Quba, and offers four Rakaats of Salaah therein, shall receive the reward equivalent to freeing a slave.” [Tabrani]
