Hadrat Ibn Umar Radiallahu Anhu narrates: While we were offering Salaah with Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam, a person said:
الله أكبر كَبِيرا، وَالْحَمْد لله كثيرا وَسُبْحَان الله بكرَة وَأَصِيلا
“Allah is Great. Praise be to Allah in abundance. Glory be to Allah morning and night.”
[On hearing this], Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam asked, “Who said such and such words?” A man from among the people said, “I, O Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam.” Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: “I am astonished. The gates of Jannah have been opened for them.”
Hadrat Ibn Umar Radiallahu Anhu says: “I never left out these words ever since I heard Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam making this statement.” [Sahih Muslim]
