Using a “student’s card” to qualify for discounted fare

I live in Turkey where students pay half-fare for transport. I am not a university student but currently studying certain subjects. I don’t have a student’s transportation card but my husband has one. Am I permitted to use his card at times to qualify for the discounted fare?
