Question:-
What is the ruling with regard to spending time viewing wildlife, like visiting Zoos, game parks, etc.
Answer:-
There is no harm in viewing animals with the intention of recognizing Allah Ta’ala. However, this is not the objective of our life hence our lives should be dedicated to the Ibaadat of Allah Ta’ala. Yes, if occasionally we go to see animals it will be acceptable with the proviso that one tries to refrain from game parks which have become dens of Fitnah. One should go to a private farm or some area that is free of Fitnah.
