Yassarnal Quraan written by a Qadiani

Question:-

What is the status of Yassarnal Quraan and its usage? I have heard it was written by a Qaadiani, is this regarding the Yassarnal Quraan used in South Africa?

Answer:-

The Yassarnal Quraan used in the Makaatib in South Africa was written by Mufti Ahmed Mia Saheb of the Waterval Islamic institute according to our research. He started the project in 1980. However, the first Yassarnal Quraan was written by a Qadiani named Peer Manzoor Muhammad in the year 1904. This Kitaab comprised of both Arabic and Urdu. The Yassarnal Quraan used in South Africa comprises of Arabic only. However, it seems that some of the Arabic text and words of the original Kitaab has been used in the current Yassarnal Quraan as well. Since the Yassarnal Quraan used in our Makaatib has been compiled and published by Waterval Islamic institute, there is no harm in using the Kitaab in our Makaatib.
