A means of protection from Dajjal and his agents

As we draw closer to Qiyaamah, the trials and tribulations seem to be escalating further and further. The Imaan of every believer is being tested all the time without us even perceiving it. The most severe of all tests will be at the time when Dajjal approaches.

Hadrat Hishaam Bin Aamir Radiallahu Anhu narrates that I heard Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam saying that, from the (time) of the creation of Adam Alaihis Salaam until Qiyaamah, there will be nothing more severe than Dajjal. [Re:- Musnad Ahmad Page.410 Vol.5]

It is recorded in Hilyatul Awliya on page 77 Volume 6, Hassan Bin Atiyya Rahimahullah narrates, that (only) 12000 men and 7000 women will be protected from Dajjal.

Hadrat Ka’ab Ahbaar narrates, that if anyone finds the era of Dajjal but does not follow him, then Jannat becomes obligatory upon such a person. If a person is saved from Dajjal, he rejects him once and says “I know you, you are Dajjal, and thereafter recites the opening verses of Surah Kahf (which is in the 15th Juz of the Quraan Sharif) without fearing him, then Dajjal will not be able to get him involved in any Fitnah. These verses will be similar to a Taweez (amulet) which will protect him from Dajjal. Fortunate is that person that protects his Imaan before the Fitnah of the Dajjal approaches and before being humiliated. He will most certainly approach such people that will be pious like the companions of Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam (no person will be spared.)

The current Fitnahs which we are experiencing are the foreword preceding the actual approach of Dajjal. We have been informed of these difficult and trying times in the Ahadith-e-Mubarakah, and the means of attaining protection has been provided to the Muslim Ummah as well. From the above narrations it is clearly understood that the recitation of Surah Kahf will serve as protection from the Fitna of the Dajjal. According to certain narrations, recitation of the Quraan Sharif is a means of protection from Dajjal.

Our Mashaaikh are now emphasizing that the first and last ten verses of Surah Kahf should be recited on a daily basis, whilst the entire Surah should be recited on the day of Jumuah. This will also assist in removing any doubts within us in regards to the current virus, which has gripped the world with fear, hence, its recitation should be implemented immediately, without any delay. At the same time, we should increase our recitation of the Quraan Sharif. May Allah Ta’ala grant us the ability. Ameen!
