Attending a Wifaaq program

What is the Darul Ifta’s view on the Wifaaq program?

ANSWER:

We are not aware of the Wifaaq program that you are referring to in your query. If you are referring to the lectures held by the Wifaaq-ul-Ulama at different venues in the country, then there is no problem attending these lectures with the intention of benefitting and reforming oneself. This is like attending any other Islaahi program where the objective is spiritual reformation and gaining closeness to Allah Ta’ala.
