Believing in the unseen

Question:-

Someone is asking the following question and I am not sure how to reply. How is Aakhirah going to be forever and ever – what is after Jannah – what happens after we are admitted into Jannah?

How do they convince their mind that the Aakhirah is forever, and can be forever?

The heart is convinced that Allah Ta’ala and Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam has said that Jannah is never-ending.

Answer:-

For many people, they require a logical explanation to everything and only then, are they prepared to accept. This is against the grain of Imaan. To qualify as a believer, one has to bring Imaan in the unseen. The Quraan Sharif has informed us that Jannah and Jahannam will be forever, hence, we should believe it without any doubt whatsoever. This is Imaan.

Doubts are created by Shaytaan due to weakness of Imaan. One is, therefore, required to strengthen his Imaan and his conviction in the words of Allah and His Rasul Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam. This can be achieved by remaining continuously in the company of the pious, or going out in the path of Allah. When the Imaan of a person is strengthened, then he will very easily have conviction in the words of Allah and His Rasul Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam.

Also, the question of what comes after Jannah, is a futile question which we are required to refrain from dwelling on. The Quraan Sharif and Hadith Sharif has encompassed all matters pertaining to the world and the hereafter, hence, it should suffice us.
