Bleeding after a miscarriage
Question:
If a woman experiences a miscarriage, then will the blood that follows be considered as Haidh or Istihaadha?
Answer:
If even half a limb of the child was formed then the blood that emerges will be considered as Nifaas. However, if the limb was not formed, but the foetus was only flesh then the bleeding will not be considered as Nifaas. If it can be categorized as Haidh, then it will be Haidh, otherwise it will be Istihaadha.
