QUESTION:
Would it be permissible to get a Brazilian wax, carried out by a Muslim female, for medical reasons? It is recommended by doctors as I am susceptible to infections with other methods. It is difficult to wax on my own.
ANSWER:
It is not permissible for a female to expose her Satr before another female without a valid Shari’ee reason. If there is no other option except having the Brazilian Wax done (which requires exposing the private part before another person), then we suggest that your husband assists you with the waxing.
