Question:-
Is ejaculation compulsory when having intercourse for Halaalah to be valid?
Answer:-
Engaging in intercourse is necessary for the validity of Halaalah, irrespective of whether ejaculation occurs or not. If ejaculation doesn’t take place, then too, the Halaalah will be valid.
فَإِنْ اسْتَدَلُّوا بِقَوْلِهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا حَتَّى تَذُوقِي مِنْ عُسَيْلَتِهِ قُلْنَا: لَيْسَ الْمُرَادُ بِذَوْقِ الْعُسَيْلَةِ الْإِنْزَالَ بَلْ هِيَ اللَّذَّةُ (المبسوط السرخسي ص148 ج5)
