QUESTION:
I feel really weak and tired all the time. I just manage to read Salalah but no extra Ibaadah. I’m feeling upset because I’m unable to recite Quraan etc. Please advise what can be done?
ANSWER:
It is difficult to comment regarding your weakness as we are not fully aware of your history. It is possible that your weakness is medically related, hence you should consult with a Hakim or doctor. However, you should continue fulfilling your Faraa’idh, Sunan and Waajibaat. When you recover, then you may continue with Nawafil. You may also perform your Nawafil sitting if you are unable to stand and perform Salaah.
Try to recite just one page of the Quraan Sharif at every Salaah time if it is not too difficult. A lover of Allah is always pleased with the condition in which His Rabb keeps him, hence, you should be pleased with the decision of Allah Ta’ala. You should keep in mind that illness is also a Ni’mat of Allah during which one’s sins are forgiven and according to some narrations one gets the reward of doing good deeds which one would carry out when healthy.
