Insects included in medication

Question:-

In certain medications, silk worms form part of the ingredients. Various other worms are also utilised in the manufacture of certain medication. What is the ruling in regards to it being permissible or not?

Answer:-

It is Haraam to consume such medication that include worms as part of its ingredient. However, such medication can be utilised as an ointment for external use.
