Question:-
What is the method of making Isaal-e-Thawaab for the Ambiya Alaihimus Salaam?
Answer:-
The Ulama have written that making Isaal-e-Thawaab for the Ambiyaa is permitted. However, we should not make Dua for forgiveness for the Ambiyaa, rather we should make Dua for elevation of their status, as they are Masoom. [Fataawa Darul Uloom Zakariyya Pg.843 Vol.2]
We should make Isaal-e-Thawaab for Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam as well. This in no way means that Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam is in need of it; rather this is a means of expressing our love (for him) due to which our relationship with Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam will be increased. The benefit of this reaches the one making Isaal-e-Thawaab and the status of Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam is increased even further. [Fataawa Darul Uloom Zakariyya Pg.844 Vol.2]
