Lava Lamps
QUESTION:-
Kindly advise what is the ruling regarding lava lamps. Is it permissible to have a lava lamp?
ANSWER:-
We haven’t found any background of Kufr or disbelief attached to the lava lamps. It is recorded on the internet that a lava lamp is a decorative lamp, invented in 1963 by British entrepreneur Edward Craven Walker, the founder of the lighting company, Mathmos. In conclusion, there is no harm in using the lava lamp.
