Learning ‘Reiki’ and ‘Body-Talk’

Question:-

Is it allowed in Islam to study Reiki and thereby become a Reiki practitioner who will assist others to heal?

What about “body-talk”?

Answer:-

Reiki is a Japanese energy-healing practice that is associated with Yoga, Buddhism and includes other aspects of Kufr, hence, it is not permissible for us as Muslims to study Reiki. Similarly, we do not approve of “body-talk” due to the un-Islamic aspects found in it, hence, we advise abstention.

There are many Duas from the Quraan and Hadith that can be recited for the various issues that we may encounter such as, depression etc. which are 100% in accordance to Shariah and effective with the permission of Almighty Allah.
