Question:-
What do the Ulama have to say in regards to the current day Ghair Muqallideen (Salafis) who refer to themselves as Ahle-Hadith. Is their Madhab correct?
Answer:-
The Ghair Muqallids (Salafis) that reject following any of the four Imaams of Fiqh, have followed Ulama with just superficial and surface knowledge and referred to themselves as Ahle-Hadith. Their school of thought is in total contradiction with the teachings of majority of the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaa’ah. They are making a great effort in the world to criticize and belittle the works of our pious predecessors. They show disrespect and, in fact, swear the great Ulama of Deen. Hadrat Shah Walyullah Muhaddith Dehlawi Rahimahullah (a great scholar of Hadith) states, “Following any of the 4 Madhabs of Fiqh is following the greatest group of the Ummah, and to turn away from them is turning away from the great group.”
