Question:-
I would like to find out with regards to having the vaccine administered. If someone has no option but to take it, for example, if the company that they work for, or the university they attend make it very difficult for them, such as not allowing them to attend work or university, then would it be correct to take the vaccine? Or would it be correct to buy the vaccine card in this case, or would this still be regarded as a bribe?
Answer:-
Firstly, we are not in favour of the vaccination and advise that one should try and refrain from being vaccinated as far as possible. However, if an employer compels his employee to be vaccinated, or else the employee would not be permitted to attend work, then he will be permitted to be vaccinated on the basis of necessity.
If a Muslim is caught with a fake vaccination card then this will be a means of humiliation and disgrace for him and the Muslims at large. To bring humiliation upon oneself and the Muslim Ummah is not permissible; hence, we advise abstention from such practices and actions.
