Question:-
Is it permissible to read the Sunnats of a Salaah before the Adhaan for that Salaah has been called out?
What if you hear the Adhaan of a certain Masjid which is earlier, and make your Sunnats, and then head to another Masjid where the Adhaan is much later and hasn’t yet been given?
Answer:-
It is not necessary to perform the Sunnah Salaah after the Adhaan is called out in the Masjid rather one may perform the Sunnah Salaah immediately after the time of the respective Salaah sets in. For example, the time of Zuhr enters as soon as the time of Zawaal expires. However, the Zuhr Adhaan is generally called out approximately 30 to 45 minutes later in our country except on the day of Jumuah when it is called out shortly after Zawaal. If one performs the Sunnah Salaah immediately after Zawaal, then the Sunnah Salaah will be valid even though the Adhaan in the Masjid is called out at a later stage.
In conclusion, one may perform the Sunnah Salaah after hearing the earlier Adhaan and perform the Fardh Salaah at the Masjid where the Adhaan is called out at a later stage.
