Quraan Stands With The Name Of Allah Ta’ala

QUESTION:

Is it permissible to attach the Name of Allah Ta’ala on Quraan stands?

ANSWER:

As a general rule, one should avoid placing the Name of Allah Ta’ala on objects where these Names may be disrespected. Allah Ta’ala says in the Quraan Shareef:

وَمَن يُعَظِّمْ شَعَائِرَ ٱللَّهِ فَإِنَّهَا مِن تَقْوَى ٱلْقُلُوبِ

“And whoever honours the symbols of Allah – indeed, it is from the piety of hearts.”

ALLAH TA’ALA ALONE IN HIS INFINITE KNOWLEDGE KNOWS BEST!
