Reading a verse of Quraan Sharif during Haidh

Question:-

If a verse of the Quraan Sharif forms part of a Hadith Sharif, what should a girl in the state of Haidh do? Must she read it with the intention that it is part of the Hadith Sharif, or must she omit it?

Answer:-

You may recite the verse (which is part of the Hadith) in the heart. However, you shouldn’t touch the area where the verse is written whilst in the state of Haidh. [Re:- Aap Ke Masaa’il Aur Unka Hal Pg.147 Vol.3]

(وَمِنْهَا) حُرْمَةُ قِرَاءَةِ الْقُرْآنِ لَا تَقْرَأُ الْحَائِضُ وَالنُّفَسَاءُ وَالْجُنُبُ شَيْئًا مِنْ الْقُرْآنِ وَالْآيَةَ وَمَا دُونَهَا سَوَاءٌ فِي التَّحْرِيمِ عَلَى الْأَصَحِّ إلَّا أَنْ لَا يُقْصَدَ بِمَا دُونَ الْآيَةِ الْقِرَاءَةُ مِثْلُ أَنْ يَقُولَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ يُرِيدُ الشُّكْرَ أَوْ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ عِنْدَ الْأَكْلِ أَوْ غَيْرِهِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ. هَكَذَا فِي الْجَوْهَرَةِ النَّيِّرَةِ (الفتاوي الهندية ص38 ج1)
