Reading Full Salaah Instead Of Qasr

QUESTION:

If our Umrah journey is less than 15 days and we perform Salaah in full instead of Qasr, will the Salaah be accepted?

ANSWER:

We assume your query is regarding performing Salaah individually, and not in Jamaat in the Haram. If so, then it is necessary for the Musaafir to make Qasr if he had undertaken a journey of 77 kilometres or more. Intentionally making Itmaam (reading full Salaah) during Safr (instead of Qasr) is Makrooh-e-Tahreemi, which renders one sinful.
