I am currently teaching a grade two pupil who is a revert. How do I explain to him the reality of a Jinn?
Answer:-
The child will not be able to fully comprehend the reality of Jinnat, and neither are we able to comprehend their reality in full, since they are not visible to us. You should simply explain to the child that they are a creation of Allah Ta’ala that are not visible to us. According to the narration of Abdullah Bin Amr Bin Aas Radiallahu Anhu, Allah Ta’ala created the Jinn two thousand years before the creation of Adam Alaihis Salaam. Amongst them are righteous Jinn as well as evil ones. Just as the pious believers worship Allah Ta’ala, the pious Jinn also worship Allah Ta’ala. They reside on the mountain tops, valleys, localities etc. [Re:- Jinnaat Ke Haalaat Wa Ahkaam Pg.50/51]
