Salaah for wiping out one’s Qadhaa Salaah
Question:-
There’s a message going around on Whatsapp about a Salaah which is called ‘Kaffarah-Dhuz-Dhunoob.’ The message states that this Salaah is to be performed on the last Friday of Ramadaan, and it will cover all the missed Salaah in the lifetime of a person. There is a formula of how this should be performed. Kindly advise if there is such a Salaah, as it is the first time that I have come across such a practice.
Answer:-
We haven’t found any such Salaah recorded in the Quraan or Hadith, where a person’s missed Salaah is wiped out due to performing a particular Salaah on the last Friday of Ramadaan. This is a baseless practice holding no merit whatsoever. The Muslim Ummah should not be deceived by such messages, and it is possible that these messages are propagated by the enemies of Islam. The Hadith states, “Salaah is a pillar of Deen; whoever establishes Salaah has established Deen, and whoever destroys Salaah, has certainly destroyed Deen.”
By propagating such messages, many weak Muslims will stop performing Salaah, in the hope of performing a particular Salaah at the end of Ramadaan and being forgiven, but in reality, they have destroyed their Deen. Their object is to destroy Islam and the Muslims, but they will never be successful Insha’Allah. In conclusion, we shouldn’t be deceived by such baseless practices. It is absolutely necessary that we keep contact with the Ulama-e-Haqq at all times, so that we may be correctly guided.
