Is it permissible to sell “Forever Living” products?
ANSWER:
We understand that you will be selling products that are derived from the aloe plant. If all the ingredients of the products are Halaal, then there is no problem in selling the products. However, if the sales are commission-based, then the commission for selling the products must be fixed. For example, if a gel sells for R100.00 and you will get 10% commission for selling the product, which equates to R10.00, then the arrangement is in order. If there is any particular aspect of their products that you are querying which we are unaware of, then you may revert to us. Regarding the Halaal suitability of ingredients, you may refer the matter to a reliable Halaal authorizing body.
