Question:-
I would like to find out with regards to the Tabligh Jamaat. In the recent past, I noticed that there is much change in the Tabligh Jamaat, perhaps due to the split that has previously occured. I would like to know which group is on the right, as I wish to join that particular group.
Answer:-
Unfortunately, there seems to be no unity in the Muslim Ummah in almost all departments of Deen. The aspect of Ikhlaas and sincerity seems to be deteriorating very rapidly and the desire for name and fame is ever increasing. This has reached such levels that even the so called ‘pious scholars’ would allow their photos to be captured and videos recorded which is then posted on social media, whereas if any action is carried out secretly, purely for the pleasure of Allah Ta’ala, then Allah will make it reach the world and allow the Ummah to benefit from it. Perhaps, people in the various departments of Deen have become desirous of position and authority, whereas we should be slaves of Allah Ta’ala and desire to purely serve the Deen of Allah Ta’ala.
Now, we should not be concerned as to who is in the right and who is in the wrong. Allah Ta’ala alone will decide who is in the right and who is in the wrong on the day of Qiyaamah. Our concern should be the Deen of Allah Ta’ala and our desire should be to propagate the Deen of Allah as Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam had done. Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam desired that every soul be saved from the fire of Jahannam and enter Jannah. If this is our ambition and goal as well, then we will continue with the work and adhere to the Usools and principles laid down by Hadrat Maulana Ilyaas Saheb Rahimahullah and not engage in futile and useless discussions and debates. This is once again a plot of Shaytaan to deviate us and move us away from the actual objective and occupy us in futile discussions wherein our lives and actions will be destroyed.
By speaking ill of another person, one will be required to present proof for his statements and utterances on the day of Qiyaamah, whereas if we keep silent in these controversial matters or speak good of all, then we will not be held accountable on the day of Qiyaamah.
In conclusion, continue doing the work as prescribed by Hadrat Maulana Ilyaas Saheb Rahimahullah without affiliating yourself to any particular group. Work with both groups ensuring that you do not engage in any futile discussions or debates. May Allah Ta’ala guide us all and unite the Ummah of Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam. Ameen!
