QUESTION:
In accordance with the Hadith, who will suffer the most on the day of Qiyaamah?
ANSWER:
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ” إِنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَذَابًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَنْ قَتَلَ نَبِيًّا، أَوْ قَتَلَهُ نَبِيٌّ، أَوْ قَتَلَ أَحَدَ وَالِدَيْهِ، والْمُصَوِّرُونَ، وَعَالِمٌ لَمْ يَنْتَفِعْ بِعِلْمِهِ (شعب الإيمان # 7504)
Abdullah ibn Abbas Radiallahu Anhuma reports that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, “Indeed the worst form of punishment on the day of Qiyaamah will be for the one who kills a Nabi or a Nabi kills him, or the one who kills any of his parents, those involved in picture making and an Aalim who did not benefit from his knowledge. May Allah Ta’ala protect us. Ameen!
