QUESTION:
Is it permissible for men to trim or cut their eyebrows in Islam?
ANSWER:
Trimming or cutting the eyebrows is not permitted for both males and females, as it is tantamount to changing the creation of Allah Ta’ala, which is not permissible.
وَلَأُضِلَّنَّهُمْ وَلَأُمَنِّيَنَّهُمْ وَلَآَمُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُبَتِّكُنَّ آَذَانَ الْأَنْعَامِ وَلَآَمُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُغَيِّرُنَّ خَلْقَ اللَّهِ وَمَنْ يَتَّخِذِ الشَّيْطَانَ وَلِيًّا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ خَسِرَ خُسْرَانًا مُبِينًا} [النساء 118]
