QUESTION
There is an Aamil who is part of the Bid’ati sect. He doesn’t adhere to the Sunnah when it comes to his appearance, and has frames of the “Peer-Sahebs” hanging in his house. Will it be permissible to see such a person for Amaliyaat if one is afflicted with Jadoo orJinns? What if a person claims that no one else has been able to help them, hence they turned to this person for help?
ANSWER:
Allah Ta’ala alone cures all illnesses. If Allah Ta’ala places the effect in the treatment of the doctor, Hakim, Amil, etc, then the treatment will be effective, otherwise not. Hence, we may use the means of cure but place our trust and reliance upon Allah Ta’ala.
The treatment of an Amil that adheres to the Shariah and possesses Taqwa will be more effective than the treatment of an Amil that does not adhere to the Shariah. We therefore advise that one should seek treatment from those Amils that adhere to the Shariah and Sunnah. If the treatment of an Amil is in any way against Shariah, then it is impermissible to visit such an Amil and seek treatment from him. If there aren’t any other Amils available, then make Dua to Allah Ta’ala and He will cure one directly from His side.
ALLAH TA’ALA ALONE IN HIS INFINITE KNOWLEDGE KNOWS BEST!
