Wife masturbating her husband during menses

Question:-

Is a woman permitted to masturbate her husband whilst experiencing her monthly menstrual cycle? The husband has a severe need to be satisfied but cannot do so, due to his wife’s monthly menstrual cycle.

Answer:-

If the husband has a severe urge and need to be satisfied (due to not being able to be intimate with his wife as a result of her experiencing her monthly menstrual cycle), then it will be permissible for the wife to satisfy him by using her hands. This will be the ruling in the case of a severe need. Doing so without such a need is considered as Makrooh.

وَيَجُوزُ أَنْ يَسْتَمْنِيَ بِيَدِ زَوْجَتِهِ وَخَادِمَتِهِ ا هـ وَسَيَذْكُرُ الشَّارِحُ فِي الْحُدُودِ عَنْ الْجَوْهَرَةِ أَنَّهُ يُكْرَهُ وَلَعَلَّ الْمُرَادَ بِهِ كَرَاهَةُ التَّنْزِيهِ فَلَا يُنَافِي قَوْلَ الْمِعْرَاجِ يَجُوزُ تَأَمَّلْ وَفِي السِّرَاجِ إنْ أَرَادَ بِذَلِكَ تَسْكِينَ الشَّهْوَةِ الْمُفْرِطَةِ الشَّاغِلَةِ لِلْقَلْبِ وَكَانَ عَزَبًا لَا زَوْجَةَ لَهُ وَلَا أَمَةَ أَوْ كَانَ إلَّا أَنَّهُ لَا يَقْدِرُ عَلَى—(رد المحتار ص100 ج2)

بضرورت تسکین بلا کراہت جائز ہے – بلا ضرورت مکروہ تنزیہی ہے   ۔ احسن الفتاوی ص۲۶۴ ج۸
