Winning a prize in a competition due to getting the highest number of ‘likes’

Question:-

Is it permissible to enter competitions where you have to get the highest ‘likes’ to win the prize?

Answer:-

It will be permissible to enter the competition in question as the elements of gambling are not found in it. The competitor is simply putting up a post, and based on the number of support or ‘likes’ he receives, he will receive the prize, hence, such a competition does not fall under the category of gambling.
