Q1) Please state the Shari’ ruling regarding reciting Quraan for a person who passed away before Ghusl is given, when the person reading for the deceased is in the same room as the deceased body?

A1) One should refrain from making Tilaawat by the deceased before Ghusl is executed due to the deceased being in a state of Najaasat (due to death).

Q2) In reference to the previous question, what if the person reciting is in a room different to the deceased?

A2) If one is not in the same room as the deceased, then one may make Tilaawat of the Quraan Majeed.
