Rainbow colours on clothing and other items

Question:-

Many children’s clothing, toys, stationery, bedding etc. have rainbow colours on them, which previously was not available.

The Shaitaani ‘LGBTQIA’ community uses the rainbow colours in many ways. Is it permissible to buy/use these items for our children which comprise of the rainbow colours or designs etc. on it?

Answer:-

Since the rainbow colours are used as the logo of the LGBTQIA+ community, we should refrain from using clothing that comprises of the rainbow colours. By wearing such clothing it could give the reflection that one is supportive and in favour of the LGBTQIA+ community, whereas this is not the case. It is on this basis that we advise abstention. If we dress our children in accordance to the Sunnah from an early age, then the love of Allah Ta’ala and His Rasul Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam will be instilled within them Insha’Allah.

The same ruling is applicable to all other items such as toys, stationery, bedding etc.
