Using fragrance free creams in the state of Ihraam

Question:-

Can Mufti Saheb please advise on the use of pure Shea butter, fragrance-free lip balm, and aqueous cream in the state of Ihraam.

Answer:-

It will be permissible to use creams and soaps which are free of fragrance in the state of Ihraam with the proviso that, it doesn’t contain any impermissible ingredients. Pure shea butter is manufactured from oily kernels within the shea tree seed. After the kernel is removed from the seed, it is ground into a powder and boiled in water, hence, there is no problem in using the product. Similarly, if the lip balm and aqueous cream is free of any fragrance then it will be permissible to utilize.
