Question:-
If a woman applies medication in the private part, will it invalidate one’s fast?
Answer:-
If the medication is applied onto the Farj-e-Khaarij (outer section of the vagina), then it does not affect the validity of the fast. If the medication is entered into the inner section of the vagina, then the fast will be invalidated.
أو أفطرت في فرجها على الأصح” لشبهه بالحقنة “أو أدخل أصبعه مبلولة بماء أودهن في دبره” أو استنجى فوصل الماء إلى داخل دبره أو فرجها الداخل بالمبالغة فيه والحد الفاصل الذي يتعلق بالوصول إليه الفساد قدر الحقنة وقلما يكون ذلك (الطحطاوي علي مراقي الفلاح ص254 ج1)
