Question:-
What is the ruling with regards to bringing little children to the Masjid? The feet of some children are not clean as they run around without shoes, whilst others play around in the Masjid causing a disturbance to the congregation. There is fear of some of them even soiling the Masjid.
Answer:-
If there is a fear of little children (that are not of understanding age) soiling the Masjid, then bringing them to the Masjid is Makrooh-e-Tahrimi. If this fear does not exist (and the children are clean), then it will be Makrooh-e-Tanzeehi (detestable). Also, children of understanding age should be taught the etiquettes of the Masjid before bringing them to the Masjid.
