Husband handing over his salary to his spouse

Question:-

Must a married man give all his salary to his wife, or what portion of his salary is he required to hand over to her?

Answer:-

It is not necessary for the husband to hand over his salary to his wife, nor is it necessary for him to disclose his salary to her. He is responsible for her accommodation, food, clothing and he should give her a stipulated amount of money (depending on his financial condition) for her personal needs, which she will not be required to account for.
