Intimacy During Haidh

QUESTION:

During Haidh, can the husband stimulate/touch the covered area (navel to knee) of his wife?

ANSWER:

It is permissible for one to be intimate with one’s wife from the area below the navel until the knee, on condition that there is a barrier between the wife and husband. It is not permissible for one to have intercourse with one’s wife in the state of Haidh under any circumstance. (RE:Fataawa Mahmoodia Vol:2 Pg:216-218)

 فيجوز الاستمتاع بالسرة و ما فوقها و الركبة و ما تحتها و لو بلا حائل و كذا بما بينهما بحائل بغير الوطي و لو تلطخ دما (رد المحتار ص ١٩٤ ج ١ )
