QUESTION:
A person had seven stones for Rami but lost one. What is he required to do?
ANSWER:
It is mentioned in the Kitaabs of Fiqh that if one misses making Rami of one stone, then one should give half a Sa’a of wheat or the value of it in Sadaqah if the Rami was not done on the next day.
إذا ترك من جمار يوم النحر حصاة أو حصاتين أو ثلاثا إلى الغد فإنه يرمي ما ترك أو يتصدق لكل حصاة نصف صاع من حنطة إلا أن يبلغ قدر الطعام دما فينقص ما شاء، ولا يبلغ دما.(بدائع الصنائع 2/138)
