QUESTION:
Are we permitted to listen to Nasheeds containing music or musical notes?
ANSWER:
All Nasheeds with music, or musical notes are Haraam. Shaytaan has deceived the Ummah into believing that it is permissible to listen to music if some Arabic words are being rendered with it, in the form of a Nasheed. This is the same as Qawwali rendered by the deviated sects. We shouldn’t be deceived with these plots of Shaytaan propagated by his agents.
